Apple Park Drone Footage Shows Construction Nearing Completion

A new video has been posted to Mathew Roberts You-Tube Channel showing his Drone Footage of Apple’s Soon-to-Open Campus, Apple Park.

Solar panel installation on the main ‘Spaceship’ appears to be almost complete, while the pond and greenery is still under construction.

The Drone footage offers a look at nearly every aspect of Apple Park. We can see the Steve Jobs Theater, the ample parking, the solar panel roof, and much more.

Apple announced back in February that its new headquarters would be named Apple Park, and the 1,000+ seat auditorium would be named after Steve Jobs. Apple also stated that Apple Park would start moving in employees during the month of April. We’re not sure if employees have moved in or are starting to move in, but it seems possible.

Landscaping on the campus has been expanded so much over the past few weeks, that Apple has caused tree shortages for other companies in the area. In the above video, it’s clear that there is much more landscaping to be done, before the 9,000 native and drought-resistant trees are completely planted.

The ongoing landscaping, as well as final construction on some of Apple Park’s auxiliary buildings, will continue into the summer, long after Apple moves their first employees into the main building.

While some of the side buildings, like the parking garage are complete, a few still have a ways to go, including the new “Steve Jobs Theatre” auditorium, which has been named in honor of the late CEO.
