Last week, Apple released its iOS Support App in the US. On Friday, Apple released it here in Canada.
“Need help? Apple Support app is your personalized guide to the best options from Apple. Find answers with articles tailored to your products and questions. Call, chat or email with an expert right away, or schedule a callback when it’s convenient. Get a repair at an Apple Store or a nearby Apple Authorized Service Provider. Apple Support is here to help.”
Launching the App for the first time on my iPad, I was automatically signed in. If you are not signed in, go ahead and sign in. You’ll then be able to grant location access to the app which will then display all the devices linked to your iCloud account.
The app allows customers to call, chat or email with an Apple Expert or even schedule a callback. You can also schedule a repair at an Apple Store or Authorized Service Provider.
In the Apps account settings, you can choose which of your products you wish to display as well as change other settings like Touch ID Support and Location.
The app seems pretty easy to use. Tell us what you think of it in the comments.
