Mark October 27th on your calendar. That is the date Apple is widely expected to unveil the next generation of the MacBook Pro. Apple hasn’t significantly updated its top-of-the-line MacBook Pro since 2012. That’s when it was last updated to include a Retina display and a Force Touch trackpad, but 4 years later, a major overhaul is long overdue.
This event could include a new iMac desktop, MacBook Air and MacBook Pro laptops, along with a new standalone 5K monitor, according to a report by Bloomberg.
Rumours abound that the new MacBook Pro will be slimmer than the existing one, with a flatter keyboard and a touchscreen OLED strip in lieu of standard function keys.
Stay tuned for more details as we will be covering the event October 27th.
