We have been seeing multiple leaks regarding the new iPhone 7 which will be debuting in several weeks. Three different models were leaked, a regular 4.7″ model, a 5.5″ Plus Model and a 5.5″ Pro model. The 4.7″ model and the 5.5″ Plus model both had upgraded cameras and the 5.5″ Pro model had a Dual Camera system.
According to a report, the 5.5″ Single lens version has been cancelled.
Apple will be launching its next iPhone in September. With the changes, here is our best guess:
There will be two models, one with a 4.7-inch screen and one with a 5.5-inch screen.
The larger iPhone will come with a camera with two lenses, which will allow for better zoom and image fidelity.
The smaller iPhone will still have an improved camera.
Both models will be more waterproof.
Both models will lose the headphone jack.
Apple seems to be saving all it’s big cards for the 2017 iPhone, which is rumoured to come in a glass body, with an edge-to-edge screen, and wireless charging. One report from Nikkei says that that Foxconn has started to develop glass casings, and one of Apple’s aluminum suppliers previously confirmed the plans to release a glass iPhone.
Apple has not yet responded to requests for comment.
