Video Surfaces Showing New iPhone 7

Various images and an extended two and a half-minute video have surfaced, showing multiple angles on a reported iPhone 7 with direct comparison with an iPhone 6s.

The video, posted on the Chinese microblogging site Weibo and reported by NWE offers a side-by-side comparison with an iPhone 6s.

The iPhone 7 is very much like the 6s, but features a larger camera and less intrusive, re-positioned antenna bands as seen in earlier leaked images. This video shows us the bottom of the phone where you will see the headphone jack has been replaced by a second speaker grill opposite the original on either side of the Lightning connector.

Both phones seem to share the same dimensions and the video clearly shows the iPhone 7 may retain the Mute switch located above the volume control buttons.

With the loss of the headphone jack, it is possible Apple may include a larger battery, and will improve the water resistance of the phone.  It is expected to be equipped with an A10 processor, 3GB of Ram, and the internal storage will see an increase from a 16GB minimum size to a 32GB.

We have yet to see a video showing the iPhone 7 Plus. It is rumored to have a wider camera cutout and a dual-lens camera.

With 2 months still remaining before Apple’s reveal in September, anything is possible.
